Natureweave is a selection of photographs by photographer/designer Jennifer Pelzek. She says that the project
was inspired initially while travelling for six months in South America. While exploring a singular path of the high Andes to the low valleys, deserts and jungles, I discovered the small details, the huge magnificent landscapes and the realization that all of these nature patterns intertwined, and even I started to lose the distinction, the line blurred, this presence of nature weaving in and out of itself. My insight grew as to how the world is connected, and the force that which is nature. The theme only continues to be reinforced by continued travels and further exposure to different landscapes, but the best thing to recognize is that the pattern of nature is everywhere we go.
These serene and powerful images show that Jennifer, who has been taking photographs since she was twelve, is accomplishing the goals of her work, which areto document a plight, expose a humanity, uncover a state of being, explore an sacred untraveled corner of the world, and give meaning to this chaotic world through photography.
