From a Corner of Shadow is by Alnis Stakle. The images in the gallery consist of approximately 30 slides that are paired to represent the levels in one image. Alnis shot the people from the window of his apartment; the subjects are not captured as personalities but simply as passers-by. He believes they symbolize a person as an absolute human, one who aims somewhere, desires something, seeks, anticipates, and regrets.
