Covered Up, a selection of photographs by FILE's Photo Editor apatrick, are images that embrace the abstract nature of covered up graffiti tagging. The "clean-up" has a style of its own: geometric, utilitarian, and colorblind. The painters' battle against their nocturnal foes and the endless cycle of paint and repaint results in a colorful patchwork that is a familiar urban phenomenon.
