FILE Contributor Roberta Murray is participating in three shows: she has two prints in the Kerry Wood Nature Centre's 2008 Art of Nature show, Visions Of Light, running from April 5 - May 19 in Red Deer, Alberta; she has three prints in the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery Spring Fling from April 19th to May 4th, in Red Deer, Alberta; and two prints selected for exhibition in the VAAA's Photography show from May 29th to June 14 in Edmonton, Alberta. The opening reception is May 29 from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. Way to go, Roberta!

3.25.08 - Life is a Blur. FILE Contributor Lance Ramoth has founded a new and innovative photography community for image creators, Fotoblur. It is designed as a place for photographers to exchange, rate, and critique each others work; one of its main goals is to be an exclusive community for art photography. 3.11.08 - Distinctions. FILE Contributor Kelly Hill received a merit award in the Fujifilm's 2007 Distinction Awards and was a runner-up in the Fujifilm Velvia competition. She also participated in the 2008 24 Photography event in East London on March 3rd - 8th. Congratulations, Kelly!
3.11.08 - Whew. FILE Contributor Susan Burnstine has been busy. The March/April issue of Camera Arts Magazine and the Spring issue of PDN EDU Magazine will feature her work. The Watermark Fine Art Photographs in Houston and Soulcatcher Studios in Santa Fe now represent her work. Lastly, the from 3 - 6pm on Sunday March 30th, she will be showing work at The Palm Springs Photo Festival. If you are in the area or attending the festival please stop by and say howdy. 3.11.08 - Whew, too. FILE Contributor Shen Wei has been also busy. The February issue of Chinese Photography featured a nine-page portfolio of his Almost Naked project and the January/February issue of La Tempestad featured his work. He is showing his work at the Deutsche Bank Wall Street Gallery in New York City through April 30th and his Almost Naked project will be featured in the Hijacked exhibition at The Queen Street Gallery in Fremantle, Australia from April 5th to April 20, 2008. Lastly, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and New York City Department of Cultural Affairs have awarded him a 2008 Manhattan Community Arts grant to publish a limit-edition monograph of the Almost Naked series. 10.17.07 - Marking Time. FILE Contributor Olena Sullivan has published a calendar of her urban photography entitled "Forgotten Objects 2008" - a 14-month exploration of the beauty of objects that lie forgotten and unclaimed in long-forgotten open and industrial space. Nice work, Olena!
9.17.07 - No Dry September. FILE Contributor Jason P. Potter has five images in the September issue of F-Stop Magazine. His gallery debut will be with White Wall Gallery in Detroit, at which he will present a series of Polaroids, including this one. Congratuations, Jason!
